Cher‘s style wouldn’t be nearly as outrageous or fabulous if she had never met Bob Mackie!
The designer was the mastermind behind many of the singer’s most iconic stage outfits, so it├óΓé¼Γäós only fitting that the longtime partners in fashion crime would reunite for what many think will be Cher├óΓé¼Γäós farewell tour.
Mackie gushed about dressing the Woman’s World diva, saying:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós not like dressing a regular person ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós like dressing a crazy goddess. Sometimes she├óΓé¼Γäós an Egyptian goddess and sometimes she├óΓé¼Γäós a biker chic goddess.”
Thank goodness Bob is a designer who’s Strong Enough to tackle that!!
This time around Mackie is planning on creating 20 outfits for Cher’s tour, and no need for backups! The designer’s logic is as follows:
“When you change that many times, you don’t wear any one thing for very long. And it’s not a big dancing operation here.”
We can├óΓé¼Γäót WAIT to see the “crazy goddess” outfits Mackie creates! They’re bound to be a sparkling feast for the eyes!
