Oh my.
A 21 year old man and a 25 year old woman have been charged with indecent solicitation of a child after they allegedly exchanged text messages with a 13-year-old girl where they tried to arrange to have sex with her.
Gina M. Cusimano and Kevin C. Pettitt, who live in Chicago, both had their bail set at $50,000 each.
The couple were caught after the teenager’s mother discovered inappropriate text messages on her daughter’s phone. The mother alerted police who contacted the couple, pretended to be the girl, and set up a meeting with them where they’d pick the girl up to perform sexual acts.
Cusimano actually showed up, and she was arrested.
The detective on the case then arrested the man at the house.
The police do not know of any other victims who might’ve been solicited by the nasty couple, and we hope there aren’t any.
Just goes to show all the young ladies to be careful in this world, and not to get too mad when your mom goes through your phone – she just is looking out for her little girl!
