Chris Brown is about to be a dad again… and this time, now we know he’ll be adding a son to the mix!
The R&B singer and extraordinary dancer is apparently having a baby boy with his ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris, according to a report from TMZ, which spoke to sources in the know around the family. The pregnancy must be fairly far along at this point, as news of the baby bump came down a little while ago, and we’re now learning it’ll be a boy.

The child will reportedly be the first for Ammika; obviously, Breezy already has five-year-old daughter Royalty, whom he shares with ex-GF Nia Guzman. Now, Brown and his baby momma have been on the outs for some time, at least as far as a relationship goes, but according to insiders the pair reportedly still gets along pretty well.
That means, per the sources, Harris is “happy with the way Chris is treating her,” including everything financially, medically, and emotionally-involved as the pregnancy takes its course and the baby’s birth comes closer and closer. Well that’s good! Obviously, CB and Guzman had such extended, significant problems in their battles over Royalty, it’s nice to hear things might go considerably more smoothly this time around. We can only hope…
The timing of everything is definitely kind of interesting; Breezy and Ammika had been together up until June, when they apparently broke up. That was the same month rumors (and then confirmation) first popped up that the couple would be having a baby. Fans, however, had their suspicions about a potential baby forthcoming as early as May 8, when they dug up some Instagram comments showing the rapper referring to Harris as “BM BAD,” which many read as code for “baby momma.” As it turns out now, those conspiracy theorists were right!
Don’t know much else other than to say the kid is reportedly due “in the fall,” though this leaves it pretty wide open for exactly when in the fall… but we digress.

Regardless, hey, congratulations to both Chris and Ammika as they navigate parenthood together. If it’s really true they’re on great terms even as exes, like the sources have been reporting, it’s about to make both of their lives a LOT better when that baby comes. Co-parenting is often times better than doing it alone!!! Just sayin’!!!!
