We’ve heard Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan‘s statement, and now we get to hear Christian Bale‘s.
Following the unbelievable shooting spree that took place during a midnight screening of Dark Knight Rises and killed twelve, Christian expresses his feelings on the matter:
“Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”
As do ours.
Warner Bros. cancelled the Paris premiere of the film in light of the circumstances. They’ve also decided to mute the box office reporting until Monday.
We just can’t get over this. So senseless!
