Christian Bale Is Unrecognizable As Dick Cheney In Upcoming Comedic Biopic!

Once again, Christian Bale has transformed his body for the big screen.
It may not be his most flattering look, but his upcoming portrayal of U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney may be the British actor’s most impressive metamorphosis yet.
To play Cheney in Adam McKay’s Vice, a comedic biopic that follows the politician at different points in his career, the 44-year-old said he shaved his head, bleached his eyebrows, and gained 40 pounds.

Costar Steve Carell revealed that Bale also performed specific exercises to thicken his neck. Wow!
Bale isn’t the only star of Vice who audiences might not recognize. George W. Bush is played by Sam Rockwell — but we bet you couldn’t guess that from the pictures (below).

Vice also stars Amy Adams as Lynne Cheney, Bill Pullman as Nelson Rockefeller, and Tyler Perry as Colin Powell. The film hits theaters Christmas day.
