Christina Haack Says Ex Josh Is Asking For 'OUTRAGEOUS' Amount Per Month In Spousal Support

Josh Hall is COMING for Christina Haack‘s bag. No wonder she’s so pissed!!

As Perezcious readers know, the exes are in the middle of a messy divorce, which now includes a battle over the sale of Christina’s Tennessee home. She purchased the property before their marriage and Josh was allowed to live there for about two weeks amid their separation (when renters weren’t at the property). But now that the Flip or Flop alum has put it on the market without permission, he has asked a judge to force the stop of the sale.

While she is the sole owner, he argued that he is entitled to a say in what happens to the property because he was helping pay the mortgage. Plus, he claimed he is “suffering prejudice” now that he has had to move into another property and deal with an increase in living expenses. It was previously revealed that he offered Christina a global settlement offer that “included terms related to the [Tennessee] residence,” which she declined. Because she had refused his terms, he was turning to the court for help. But now we have a better understanding of why Christina denied his offer!

On Tuesday, Us Weekly obtained legal docs filed by the HGTV star originally on Thursday, October 10. In the filing, she detailed the alleged settlement offer she was presented with — in which her ex wanted her to pay him $65,000 a month in spousal support.

OMG!!!

According to the real estate investor’s filing, Josh presented her with a “good faith settlement offer” that requested “$65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2-year, 9 month marriage.” Her attorney Matthew S. DeArmey slammed the request, calling it “hardly good faith” in the “short-term marriage,” arguing:

“The court is familiar with offers labeled as ‘Good Faith’ settlement offers which are not in fact made in good faith. The claim by [Josh] that he sent a ..Good [F]aith settlement offer is not a fair characterization in my opinion. […] Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting.”

It is WILD! Especially when you remember the reality star has also accused him of already stealing $35,000 from her bank account as they were breaking up! He’s really going after all her money, it seems!

The Christina on the Coast star’s team also pointed out that Josh isn’t strapped for cash! He just paid off a luxury car — worth more than he’s asking in support. They claimed Josh “just paid over $70,000 to pay off the lease” on a Bentley and therefore “has no need for spousal support.” He certainly doesn’t sound like he’s hurting financially…

In her filing, per Us, Christina proposed a “cost-effective plan” to resolve their legal issues, including a “full tracing and accounting of all funds of both parties” throughout their marriage to “show where every dollar came from and who received it.” She also insisted she bought the home as an investment property and that the sale will serve as a “like kind business property” and she won’t receive funds as a result.

As for what he has to say about all this?? Josh and his team are claiming she’s lying! A rep for Josh has already hit back at the spousal support claim, telling Us:

“This filing is riddled with provably false statements. For one, Josh never requested $65,000 in support. That’s false.”

That said, Josh did request spousal support in his initial divorce filing back in July but he did not specify an amount. Christina has been requesting that neither of them receive any support. His rep’s statement also hit back at Christina’s claims that Josh lives full-time at his mother’s house in Tennessee and that he only used Christina’s home “as a vacation property.” It noted:

“The Nashville property was never an investment house. Christina was in Nashville so much she had to make a public statement about it, calling this their ‘second home.’ Nobody spends so much time at an ‘investment home’ that they must clarify why they’re often there. That makes zero sense.”

The spokesperson concluded:

“It’s sad that Christina’s team is so desperate to smear Josh that they can’t even make up logical lies. Josh continues to pray for Christina and hopes to resolve this matter privately.”

Meanwhile, Josh accused his estranged wife’s attorney of being “unethical.” Taking to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, he wrote:

“So now [DeArmey Law] files legal declarations riddled with lies and assumptions… interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity. Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical.”
