Oh god! This is so embarrassing!
An Associated Press reporter decided to get a leg up on the competition when they heard Christopher Walken randomly call into a Washington, D.C.-based radio show to talk about the Natalie Wood case. Only problem is, the person the reporter quoted in their article wasn’t Walken at all.
It was an impersonator! Whoops!
The radio produces who puts on the ESPN talk show in D.C. explained that he was really shocked he fool anyone with his schtick, especially considering the circumstances. He explains:
“Christopher Walken hasn├óΓé¼Γäót spoken about this in 30 years, do they really think he├óΓé¼Γäós calling into a D.C. sports show, to talk about Natalie Wood, and then, by the way, give fantasy football tips? It was absurd. Let├óΓé¼Γäós be honest, I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure Julia Roberts does a better Christopher Walken than I do and I├óΓé¼Γäóm embarrassed for the AP reporter.”
As are we! We bet they are NEVER going to live that down! Ever!
Really, some common sense would have helped in this. The guy has an excellent point after all. It would be like Kim Kardashian calling up Rush Limbaugh for marriage counseling.
Wait. We take that back. She should do that … and have us conference call in so we can hear every detail! LOL
