Cole Sprouse is ready to open up.
The 30-year-old actor and former child star is sitting down with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper for this week’s episode of the influential podcast. That very frank discussion will drop in full on Spotify on Wednesday — but on Tuesday afternoon, the show’s Instagram page released a super-short clip teasing some of Cole’s topics of conversation with Cooper. And oh, man, do his words sound juicy!!!

For one, yes, Cole does discuss his former high-profile romance with Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart. The duo dated on-and-off for about three years after meeting on the set of that show. They eventually pulled the plug for good on their relationship back in May of 2020. And while the ending of their relationship was clearly very difficult to take from the public perspective, it turns out people didn’t even know the half of it.
In the quick Call Her Daddy teaser, Cooper asks Sprouse about what the end of that relationship was like. His answer comes in as follows (below):
“Ooh, it was really hard. I know we both did quite a bit of damage to each other.”
Yikes…
Then, in a jump-cut, Cooper asks Cole whether he’s ever been cheated on. He doesn’t mention any women by name — Reinhart or otherwise — but he does say infidelity has been a VERY common theme among his ill-fated relationships:
“Yeah. By almost every single one of my girlfriends.”
Oh, man.
That’s all we get as far as the relationship teaser is concerned, though. In the brief IG clip, Cole doesn’t cover any more insider insights. But it’s clear those will come out when the full interview gets released on Wednesday.
Elsewhere in the teaser, Sprouse talks about the business and family difficulties he and brother Dylan Sprouse experienced while working up to filming The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as children:
“I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this. We had pretty much lost everything from the youngest parts of our career. Custody was stripped from my mother and given to my father.”
And after another jump cut, Cole can be heard saying:
“It’s probably the greatest wound in my life.”
There are also some funny moments in the whole thing, tho. While laughing in one short segment, he says:
“You want to hear about how I lost my virginity? This is such a great story.”
Oooh! We want to hear that story!!

FWIW, Lili has since moved on to spark romance rumors with Spencer Neville. Cole, meanwhile, has been linked to Ari Fournier since early 2021. So clearly, it would seem both parties have gotten beyond this ex-romance for some time.
