This may be a “misunderstanding,” as he says, but still very scary.
Coolio was arrested on Saturday afternoon for allegedly trying to bring a gun through the security lines at LAX — and to make matters worse, the gun, at least according to media reports, was listed as stolen.

It all started when airport police stopped a 39-year-old man when cops detected he had the gun in a carry-on bag, though eventually, authorities determined that gun (and bag) belonged to a 53-year-old man who had already made it through security and boarded his flight.
That 53-year-old man is Coolio; cops came and took him off his plane, and both he and the other man were arrested for possession of a stolen, loaded firearm in the airport, and booked in jail.
TMZ is reporting that the firearm belongs to a member of Coolio’s security team, and that the Gangster’s Paradise rapper was fully cooperating with police over what he termed a “misunderstanding.”
