Time could be up for Cuba Gooding Jr..
The American Crime Story star is facing a true crime story as he’s being sued by a woman who claims he raped her twice in 2013.

According to TMZ, the suit has been filed by Jane Doe, who alleges the actor held her down and assaulted her at The Mercer hotel in NYC seven years ago. The woman claims she and her friend met Gooding at a restaurant’s VIP lounge on the evening of August 24 before he invited them for drinks back at the hotel. Doe claims Gooding arranged for a taxi to take him and her back to The Mercer, while her friend planned to meet them at the hotel bar. Once they got to the hotel, however, she says he asked her to go to his room so he could change.

The woman claims she was hesitant, but Gooding said it would be quick, so she agreed. Once inside the room, she alleges, Cuba turned on music, blocked the door, and began to undress. Doe claims she tried to leave, but the Oscar winner stopped her and forcibly started to sexually assault her with his hands.
Doe alleges she resisted and said “no” several times, but the actor started being physically aggressive with her and threw her on the bed. Then, the docs say, he “aggressively removed Plaintiff’s underwear” and vaginally raped her until he ejaculated. She claims he did not wear a condom.
Afterward, Doe claims the now-52-year-old went to the bathroom, which gave her a chance to escape; however, he returned as she was attempting to flee the bed, and he raped her again — this time, anally. She alleges they both laid in the bed after the second rape because she feared he would rape her a third time, but he fell asleep — giving her time to finally leave his hotel room.

Doe is suing the star for a “crime of violence” based on gender and is seeking damages, the outlet reports. The actor’s attorney, Mark Heller, called the allegations “fabricated,” telling TMZ:
“Clearly, this is a fabricated accusation that was never reported to the police — and forms no basis for any claim at this point with 7 years having passed.”
Gooding has been accused of inappropriate conduct by several other women who claim he groped them on separate occasions at bars and parties. Last year, he turned himself over to police and appeared in court over charges of sexual misconduct. He has pleaded not guilty to the 2019 charges, where he faces a total of six counts. Thoughts on this new lawsuit??
