Dakota Mortensen Begs To Go To Jail Instead Of Taylor Frankie Paul In New Footage From 2023 Domestic Violence Arrest

More body camera footage has been released from the night of Taylor Frankie Paul‘s 2023 domestic violence arrest.

As Perezcious readers know, Taylor and her baby daddy Dakota Mortensen got into a fight, which involved the MomTok star throwing furniture at her now-ex while one of her kids sat nearby. She was ultimately arrested — and footage of the fight was made public last week, resulting in her season of The Bachelorette getting cancelled.

Now, additional footage obtained by TMZ on Monday, shows the moment cops arrived at the home. Dakota accuses the reality star of being “hammered,” and she hits him. Cops then split them up. They continue to argue as Taylor cries and searches the home for her phone.

Later, Dakota tells cops “she’s not doing okay,” claiming, “I can’t even tell you the stuff that’s happened to me.” He goes on to show injuries he allegedly sustained because of her and details their fight. Taylor then interrupts and kicks him out.

Outside later, Dakota is heard asking a cop to arrest him and send him to jail instead of Taylor, who was deemed the “primary aggressor,” wondering, “Why can’t it be me?” The cop expresses a hope this will be her wake-up call, to which Dakota says:

“I truly just want her to get help.”

Wow. Hard to watch.

But that’s not all…

More body camera footage shows authorities returning to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star’s home a week later to collect evidence from the incident. Recorded on February 24, 2023, two officers are seen going into the Utah home to collect the “weapon” — a metal barstool, which looks like one she threw at Dakota — per orders from prosecutors, and to photograph damage from the fight, such as a dented wall.

At one point, Taylor asks law enforcement about their investigation and if it’s “super bad.” One officer notes “no one’s dead, so it’s not super bad,” but insists “it’s definitely not a good thing.” See it all:

Heartbreaking to see all this. Such a dark time for this couple, and it’s especially tough to see considering we know things have remained complicated between them with new abuse allegations surfacing this month. Oof.
