Elizabeth Hurley‘s model son Damian is drawing a TON of attention for his new campaign working for British celeb makeup artist Pat McGrath — with fans of the model’s mom both shocked and surprised at his uncanny resemblance!
The long-haired 17-year-old just caught one of his first big modeling breaks with the McGrath campaign this week, drawing attention from a TON of beauty industry followers for his smooth, sexy, wind-blown look in the new makeup and skin care campaign.

As you can see (below), McGrath was ecstatic to share Liz Hurley’s lookalike son with his soft features and flawless skin as part of the new campaign, on his official Instagram account (below):

As you can guess, the campaign is getting a TON of attention — particularly across the pond in the U.K., where Damian’s modeling career has been something of a big deal lately in light of his, shall we say, more than slight resemblance to his supermodel momma!

It’s been interesting to hear some of the reaction surrounding this campaign for Damian, because some fans and followers have even called him out for his “doll-like” look, calling it “creepy” and worse!
One mother writing on an online forum for moms in the U.K. called Mumsnet didn’t hesitate to tell it like she saw it when Damian’s campaign made her feel “uncomfortable” (below)
“[Am I] being unreasonable to feel uncomfortable regarding the pictures of Liz Hurley’s son. They really are astonishing pictures, part of an ad campaign. He looks just like his mother. I’m not keen.”
Interesting…
There were positives, of course; one Twitter user jokingly noted the benefits of “a hot lookalike son” (below):

And while some people were quick to note that “there wasn’t anything wrong” with the pictures, still others struggled to grasp why they weren’t feeling the campaign, or Damian’s look, as another commenter noted:
“They freaked me out a bit but I can’t put my finger on why. There’s something uncanny valley about him. Like someone said, more like a doll than a man.”
Another added:
“For me it is weird because he looks polished like a china doll and china dolls freak me out. Particularly the GIF doing the rounds where he pouts and opens his eyes.”
