Elizabeth Hurley is still clearly shaken up — and understandably so — as she continues to deal with the fallout of her nephew Miles Hurley nearly being stabbed to death in London earlier this month.
As we’ve been reporting, a group of as-yet unidentified men repeatedly stabbed Miles and a friend of his who were walking on a London street a couple weeks ago.
And while Elizabeth broke the news to the public at the time, she’s back in the social media spotlight again with more to say about the incident.

On Saturday afternoon, she took a photo of herself holding a dove and posted it to her Instagram account, sharing a special and impactful message about her nephew and his recovery, and thanking fans and social media followers for all their support.
In the message, the actress wrote (below):
“Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend. Thank you to all who sent such kind messages following the news that my nephew @mileshurley1 was viciously stabbed last week. His wound is shocking, he remains in great pain and he can hardly move, but he is slowly recovering. My sister is an amazing mother and is looking after him and his friend- who was also stabbed. I have just reached India but am receiving updates throughout the day. We need to make our streets safer and I want to be part of the movement to achieve that. I hope you will join me. More later xxxx”
This, of course, comes more than a week after her first mention the incident, when on March 10 Hurley revealed exactly what happened to the 21-year-old model and his friend while out walking (below):
“He was repeatedly stabbed and lost more than four pints of blood. A policeman was patrolling close by and administered first aid until the ambulance arrived. The deepest wound just missed severing his spine. By some miracle no vital organs were damaged. We are praying that these animals are caught before they maim, or even kill, someone else. These are sad days.”
Sad, sad days indeed.

Scotland Yard still has made no arrests in the case.

Our thoughts continue to be with Miles and the rest of the Hurley family.
