DWTS Episode 2: Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough Dazzle The Judges!!!

With elimination set for today, the Dancing with the Stars contestants tried their best to heat up the dance floor with their top notch jazzy moves, and while Zendaya and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy still managed to soar high in last night’s episode ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough actually STOLE the show yesterday!!
Once Miz Pickler and Hough racked up 26 points, judge Carrie Ann Inaba said, You are a dancer! That was friggin’ amazing!”
And while Zendaya and Val also garnered 26 points, Bruno Tonioli told the Disney starlet that “a star us born big time!”
It was also a good night for Mark Ballas and Aly Raisman as they got 24 points for “the best quick step of the night,” and lets not forget about how Carrie Ann noted that Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirinoff had a “rocking” routine.
Three couples, including The Bachelor‘s Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd, Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson and Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess all earned 20 points for their impeccable jazz moves.
But unfortunately, not everyone could be in the 20-point range as boxer Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold got 18 points with a footwork warning, Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani scored 18 for their quickstep, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko also got 18 points.
And here’s what we’ve all been waiting for… last week, D.L. Hughley only scored 12 points, but last night, he improved and got 16 points, which put Dorothy Hamill at the bottom with 15 points.
The first elimination is going down tonight at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, and now that we saw TWO episodes, it’s gonna be hard to want to see our favorite dancers go!!
Too bad we can’t keep ’em all and watch ’em dance forever!!
