DWTS: Dancer Who Lost Leg In Boston Bombings Makes An Appearance

What an eventful night!!
It’s been a little over two weeks since the Boston Marathon tragedy happened, and considering that it was an event that shook our nation to the core, Dancing with the Stars has been doing everything they can to honor everyone who was affected by the horrific occurrence.
Last week, we announced that ballroom dancer, Adrianne Haslet who lost her leg during the horrific event was gonna make an appearance on DWTS, and since ABC‘s dance show kept their promise, the 32-year-old appeared on last night’s elimination episode for a three-minute segment, where she revealed that she WILL dance again!!
Ch-ch-check out the inspirational clip (above)!
In other news, since someone was destined to get the boot yesterday, we knew that it was down to three couples, which included: Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess, Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson, and Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff.
However, since Jones and Smirnoff were able to rack up 27 points on episode 7, they were declared safe, which left Rademacher and Johnson and Dick and Burgess in the bottom two.
But when it came down to elimination time, Andy and Sharna were let go on account of only earning 17 points last night and because, well, they haven’t been doing well throughout the season anyway.
While in tears, the comedian said:

“It’s been the best. The fact that we’re here on week seven is amazing.”

And Sharna added:

“I couldn’t have a had a better first season as a pro.”

Awww! We’re glad that DWTS‘ sixth elimination was a success and nothing short of inspirational!!
Now that’s what you call good TV!
