Sounds like Dannii Minogue has definitely been feeling the pressures of balancing work AND family lately!
After announcing her split from Kris Smith just last month, the former X Factor UK judge has decided to stay put in Australia.
Though rumor has it that Simon Cowell has been wanting Dannii to return to the show to replace Kelly Rowland, the single mom wants to focus on her 22-month-old son, Ethan!
In a recent interview, Dannii explained:
“The guilt of going back to work floods you. I try to take it all in my stride, but when it affects my loved ones I feel an internal struggle with the love for my work. Ethan has his little routine now. He has swimming lessons; he has things that are important to him. I don’t want to unsettle him to follow me around the globe.├óΓé¼┬¥
Such a good mommy!
The Aussie also revealed that juggling work and family can get difficult, with some days being easier and better than others.
Though Dannii has not confirmed whether or not she’d return to XF if offered, it sounds like she would choose her son over Simon!
We definitely give her a TON of credit and we hope she decides to do what’s best for her!
