Gosh, do we love him!
While Darren Criss is already back in L.A. and preparing for his triumphant return to McKinely High, the Great White Way is feeling the effects of having the Gleek in their midst in the month of January. Aside from Daniel Radcliffe’s final week with How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Darren’s three week stint with the show was the most lurcrative in the revivals 11-month run. Each week, Business was very good at the box-office, with more than $1.3 million made per week.
That’s over $4 million total! Damn!
Considering how profitable Darren was for the show, there is talk of having him back come the summer time after Nick Jonas takes his final bow on July 1st. However, that all depends on whether or not the Glee show will go on a national concert tour again. Seeing as this might be the last season for a lot of fan favorites, we’re opting to believe that there will be one, give the original cast one last hurrah.
Still, we imagine there will come a time when Darren will have the open schedule to fit more Broadway work in and we hope he jumps at the chance. Everyone who saw him in Business told us he was simply wonderful and we want much more of that for him.
