This is just so heartbreaking.
As we previously reported, David Bowie‘s ex-wife Angie Bowie is currently in the middle of filming season 17 of Celebrity Big Brother. Since she is isolated from the world while participating in the show, producers were forced to inform the former model of her former flame’s lost battle to cancer.
Tragic!
However, it appears that the 66-year-old has opted to remain in the house despite her recent loss. In fact, she even opened up about the Space Oddity singer’s death for the CBB cameras.

On Monday, U.K.’s Channel 5 aired a clip of Miz Bowie weeping, as she shared:
“I haven’t seen him in so many years. I can’t make a big drama out of it. I just feel like an era has ended with his passing. I’m so very sad.”
We can only imagine how hard this entire situation is for her. Duncan Jones‘ mother went on to mourn as her fellow contestants David Gest and John Patridge comforted her. She relayed:
“The Stardust is gone.”
We’re not crying, you’re crying!
In regards to Angie’s bold choice to stay on the show, a rep noted:
“The decision to remain in the House is entirely her choice, and she has been given the option to leave at any time if she changes her mind. Appropriate support will be available to Angie at any time if needed.”
