The clock is winding down for the producers of American Idol, with just ONE judge’s seat filled for the show’s upcoming twelfth season!
So far, Mariah Carey has been the ONLY judge confirmed, with Randy Jackson possibly moving to a mentoring role, following Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler’s exits.
Now, we’re hearing that Diddy is being considered for a seat!
Reportedly, the Bad Boy has already been approached by the producers of Idol, though neither have yet to comment or confirm!
We’re sure Mariah and Diddy would bring the dramz with some “creative differences!” Hm!
As for the other names being thrown into the mix? There’s been talks of Pharrell being involved in negotiations, too!
In fact, it’s even been reported that Pharrell has revealed to his friends that he’d be at the Idol auditions later this month!!
Nick Jonas recently confirmed that he’s also being considered for the hit show and earlier, we reported that Alanis Morissette could possibly be in the running for a judging position, as well!
With all of their experience in the recording industry, could Diddy or Pharrell be the L.A. Reid for AI???
