We have a blood-curdling new update in D4vd’s murder case.
Less than two weeks after his arrest for the murder of missing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, authorities have revealed shocking new information about the singer’s online purchase history following the harrowing homicide — as well as his alleged nefarious plans surrounding her murder.
Per court documents filed by prosecutors, D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, purchased several alarming items online in April and May 2025 after allegedly murdering Celeste. As we’ve been following, LA District Attorney Nathan Hochman accused the Romantic Homicide singer of lying in wait at his Hollywood Hills rental home on April 23, 2025 after ordering an Uber to deliver Celeste from her family’s home in Lake Elsinore, California (long trip, btw). On that day, prosecutors allege he stabbed her to death before watching her bleed out — and then followed up by ordering a shovel from Home Depot online the next day and having it delivered by Postmates.
But that wasn’t the extent of his alarming purchases…

Prosecutors further claim that on May 1, the 21-year-old bought not one but TWO chainsaws from Amazon, which were delivered to his address. Four days after that, they say he purchased a blue inflatable pool, heavy duty laundry bags, and get this… a BODY BAG. How dumb. According to prosecutors, D4vd made the purchases under the alias Victoria Mendez.
In the docs, prosecutors went on to claim D4vd placed Celeste’s dead body in the blue inflatable pool to avoid getting her blood on the garage floor, before going in with the chainsaw and possibly other tools to dismember her. As we know, the teen was discovered hacked up and decomposing in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla in September of that year. Authorities have yet to discover her pinky and ring fingers, which prosecutors claim had a tattoo of D4vd’s name. Just horrible.
Upon their search of the Here With Me singer’s rental home in September, authorities say they discovered “evidence consistent with the dismemberment of the victim’s body in the inflatable pool, which contained multiple linear cuts. Several biological samples, which tested positive for blood, were collected within the garage area.” On top of that, the Medical Examiner reported findings of blue plastic fragments lodged in Celeste’s remains consistent with the inflatable pool material.
How crazy… Each update truly just gets more and more chilling. And it really sounds like prosecution has a solid case.
LAPD Police Chief Jim McDonnell claimed last week there is evidence he had a sexual relationship with the minor, whom he allegedly first met in 2022 when she was just 11 years old. As of now, he’s been charged with first degree murder with special circumstances, lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, and mutilating a body. He’s currently being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in LA without bail. The same place Nick Reiner is in.
Our heart continues to be with Celeste’s loved ones.
