We’re so let down by Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce.
On March 11, the famous design duo Dolce & Gabbana made a very controversial comment about same sex parenting.

Stefano and Domenico, who dated for 20 years, commented:
“The only family is the traditional one. No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”
A “rented uterus”? “Chemical offsprings”? Not only is the remark very hurtful to LGBT families, but the tone of the statement is also deplorable.
The comment echoes an opinion Stefano expressed in 2010 when he said:
“A child needs a mother and a father. I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother.”
Hmm, we bet A LOT of LGBT parents and their children would disagree with that statement!
