Cohen, 53, and his book are in the news this week after he first released the foreword to the tell-all on Thursday. Journalists and political observers jumped on it immediately, dissecting the opening section paragraph-by-paragraph and reveling in some of the wilder, wackier details and notes teased within it!
The key paragraph here involves alleged “golden showers in a sex club in Vegas,” a direct parallel allegation to the infamous pee tape story we’ve all heard so much about. The former fixer promises to tell the whole anecdote within the pages of the book — along with revealing a LOT of other eye-opening and, um, highly concerning alleged events.
In Cohen’s own words (below, emphasis ours), he wrote:
“When Trump wanted to reach Russian President Vladimir Putin, via a secret back channel, I was tasked with making the connection in my Keystone Kop fashion. I stiffed contractors on his behalf, ripped off his business partners, lied to his wife Melania to hide his sexual infidelities, and bullied and screamed at anyone who threatened Trump’s path to power. From golden showers in a sex club in Vegas, to tax fraud, to deals with corrupt officials from the former Soviet Union, to catch and kill conspiracies to silence Trump’s clandestine lovers, I wasn’t just a witness to the president’s rise—I was an active and eager participant.”
Umm… there’s a LOT to take in there! Trump sounds sketchy AF… and corrupt AF! We’re also wondering just how “active” of a participant Cohen actually was in, like, the golden showers themselves, ya know?! Just saying!!! Also: tax fraud, Putin, cheating on Melania… jeez, man! We all always wondered about this stuff, but DAMN!
And that’s just one paragraph! The whole foreword is a s**t show, to say the least, and if Cohen can truly deliver through the book, this one could be a game-changer! As you’d expect, Twitter went CRAZY upon reading it! One user read the whole teaser and sarcastically wondered (below):

Another tweeter mocked Trump’s popularity with Evangelical Christians in middle America, writing:
“Can’t wait to read Michael Cohen’s book. But I’m confused… are ‘golden showers’ a new Evangelical rite of passage?? Evangelicals, please set us straight…”

Even famous people threw in their two cents! The View host Sunny Hostin asked:
“Michael Cohen writing about the President and Golden Showers. I’m just sick to my stomach about the devolution of our country. Family Values? What is happening?”
Seriously… Unfortunately, Trump himself hasn’t tweeted about the book yet. We assume he probably won’t — why give publicity (and thus sales, and thus $$$) to somebody who turned against you — but damn, we hope he does!!! What about U, Perezcious readers? Thoughts?
