Apparently, no press is bad press for Donald Trump!
Despite several businesses distancing themselves from the presidential hopeful, the billionaire is at the top of the polls for Republican presidential candidates!
In a nationwide survey, the former Apprentice host leads the rest of the top GOP candidates at 17%!

Following The Donald is former Florida governor Jeb Bush with 14%, the only other candidate to reach double digits in the poll:
Donald Trump: 17%
Jeb Bush: 14%
Scott Walker: 8%
Ted Cruz: 6%
Marco Rubio: 5%
Ben Carson: 4%
Rand Paul: 4%
Mike Huckabee: 4%
Chris Christie: 3%
The 69-year-old has gained six percentage points since the USA TODAY/ Suffolk University poll was taken back in June, while Bush’s has remained comparably steady.
Almost half of those surveyed (48 percent) admit that Trump’s racist comments about Mexican immigrants make them less likely to support him, while 15 percent say the comments make them more likely to support him!
But just because things are looking good for the candidate now, doesn’t guarantee a thing! David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center says:
“We’ve seen Donald Trump make it to the top, but the question is can he stay on top. In 2012, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain led the GOP primary field briefly but only to fade.”
It’s still early in the race — anyone can win! COUGH* Hillary Clinton COUGH*!
