The American Music Awards never fails to bring out our favorite celebs looking their best and based on this year’s nomination list, the 2016 ceremony is going to be one star-studded affair!
The award show just announced their list of nominees, including a record-breaking rapper!
Back in 1984, Michael Jackson earned a whopping 11 nominations, but this year Drake ended up edging the Thriller singer out by earning 13!

What’s just as exciting is the Hotline Bling artist’s lady love earned the second most nominations with seven! Sure, we expected all the big players like Adele, Justin Bieber, Beyonc├â┬⌐, and The Weeknd to get nominated — especially for Artist of the Year — but we had NO IDEA how many nods Drizzy and RiRi would land!
