Crime doesn’t pay … especially when you’re dumb enough to boast about it on social media.
Dorian Walker-Gaines and Dillan Thompson allegedly stole a backpack containing Randy Schaefer’s iPad, Macbook and several thousands of dollars worth of cash earlier this month.

The duo nearly got away with their crime, if they weren’t so arrogant … and dumb.
You see, the bungling burglars took selfies with the iPad, and the photos began appearing on Schaefers iCloud.
Soon after, a YouTube video titled “Burger King Ballin'” was uploaded, showing Dorian and Dillan waving the stolen dollar bills.
“Hello America. This is Dorian from the Money Team. This is my brother Dillan, also Money Team, and this my good people is what we get from a good night’s hustle. We doing ‘Big Face Ben’ [Franklin] over here. New, old, we just hustle. Don’t worry about how.”
Well, some astute viewers DID worry about how, and the Harris County sheriffs stepped in, arresting Walker-Gaines and Thompson on Wednesday.
There were no more selfies for them after that, just mugshots!
