This will surely make for one hell of a Hollywood week!
We mentioned earlier this week that Ellen DeGeneres had a bone to pick with Simon Cowell when he showed up extremely late for their first show taping of American Idol. Sources are saying that while the amount of time he was late was overstated, the tension between Simon and Ellen was not.
In fact, the cameras had to stop rolling at one point during the week because to two decided to stop speaking to one another!
A source on set suggests:
“There’s two camps on the show this season. It’s a lot more tense than previous seasons. It seems as if Ellen has decided to try to take control since Simon is on his way out and that’s created problems.”
Yikes! Can’t we all just get along? (Ignore that – things are much more interesting when you don’t!)
