What a way to honor a music legend!
Elton John brought down the house at his SiriusXM Town Hall performance when he paid tribute to David Bowie, who died on Sunday at 69.
With his crimson grand piano, the Candle in the Wind singer celebrated the late music icon’s illustrious career with a cover of Bowie’s 1969 hit Space Oddity before blasting off into a touching performance of Rocket Man!
John then welcomed out a handful of other guests — like Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes — to perform duets of his biggest songs!

The Confident songstress performed Elty’s 1979 classic Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, and the Stitches singer performed Tiny Dancer!
But that’s not all — EJ also rocked out with Fall Out Boy‘s frontman Patrick Stump performing his 1973 hit Saturday Night’s Alright (for Fighting)!
Check out clips of the night’s performances (below)!
