What is their problem?!
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the men behind Dolce & Gabbana, have been outspoken against same-sex families for almost a decade, and even after all of that time, they haven’t learned their lesson.
In a super offensive interview with Italy’s Panorama magazine, they absurdly called IVF babies “chemical offsprings” from a “rented uterus.” HORRIBLE!
So, celebs like Elton John, who has two adorably perfect sons with husband David Furnish, took to Instagram to make his feelings known. He said:
“How dare you refer to my beautiful children as “synthetic”. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana”
He couldn’t have said it better!
IFV is in no way only for same-sex couples, and even if it was, SO WHAT! Everyone should have the option of becoming a parent.
