Elvis Presley's Grandson Scores $5 Million Record Deal

We wonder why?!
The 17-year-old grandson of Elvis Presley, Benjamin Presley, has been offered 5 million big ones to crank out up to 5 albums. Ben has already begun recording his first album, which he says will be “nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all.”
Ben is Lisa Marie Presley‘s son with musician Danny Keough and he does look quite a bit like his grandfather. Apparently, he’s just a surly teenager, though, as his spokesman describes Ben as “a typical 17-year-old. He doesn’t get up before midday and then grunts at you.”
Kinda sounds like a brat to us! What kind of music does this kid even make if it’s “nothing like Elvis” yet he’s being offered all this cash?
At the moment Ben’s taking a break from recording, but he’s hoping to have the album released by next year.

Update: PerezHilton.com has been contacted by Presley’s REAL publicist who tells us that the “spokesperson” quoted isn’t even Ben’s spokesperson. According to his real publicist, Ben “did not get a record deal, he is not recording.├é┬á He is actually a student.”
