We have all heard the adorable story of how Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield fell in love on set while filming The Amazing Spider-Man!
But that isn’t quite how it happened!
According to a new extra tidbit on the Blu-Ray/DVD, the star couple had sparks right from the very first time they screen tested together! Andrew raves:
“She came in and she was like a shot of espresso. She’s incredibly energetic and enthusiastic and she had this sense of play and fun, which was incredibly exciting.”
And he wasn’t the only one to feel the buzz; it was obvious to director Marc Webb too! He says:
“There were fireworks. She could take Andrew’s improvisation and witticisms and one-up him. It was amazing to see them go back and forth, and it really became fun to watch them.”
Now we know why he decided they were perfect to play science prodigies Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy- their chemistry! LOLz!
