Euphoria Composer Labrinth GOES OFF In Cryptic Post, Says 'F**k' The Show & Declares He's 'Done' With Industry!

Is Labrinth stepping away from the entertainment industry? It seems so after he went on an expletive-filled rant this week!

Fans know the 37-year-old singer has been in the music business since 2009, creating songs such as Beneath Your Beautiful, Mount Everest, and Jealous. But he really got his breakout moment when he signed on to create the music for Euphoria. People loved and praised the score for the HBO show, especially his iconic collaboration with lead actress Zendaya on All for Us, featured in the Season 1 finale. He even won an Emmy in 2020 for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song.

However, something must have happened recently to upset Labrinth — enough to make him bash the show and quit the industry entirely! In an Instagram post on Thursday, the musician went off on Euphoria and his label, Columbia Records, while seemingly announcing his retirement! He wrote:

“IM DONE WITH THIS INDUSTRY. F**k COLUMBIA. DOUBLE F**k EUPHORIA. IM OUT. THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT X.”

OMG! What! Ch-ch-check out the post (below):

Labrinth has not elaborated on what sparked the jaw-dropping rant. But fans know it comes a month before the very long-awaited third season of Sam Levinson’s HBO show. Labrinth scored the music for the first two seasons, but the upcoming one saw him collaborating with Hans Zimmer on the music this time. Do his issues with Euphoria and Columbia stem from that? There reportedly were problems behind the scenes regarding the production delay, but perhaps there is more going on than we thought! Unfortunately, we do not have the tea right now. People want it, though. See the reactions to the post (below):

“Can someone please explain what happened?”

“Do not stop making art because of the suits. You’re the realest one we have rn.”

“Who’s gonna tell them I watched euphoria for the labrinth bangers”

“how can you drop tea half brewed like this?”

“now hold itt your songs MADE the show, spill the tea king?!?”

“Ik this Sam Levinson fault somehow”

Who knows! Labrinth also received support from his fellow artists, including Kesha. She wrote:

“Take care of your peace my love. You are loved and supported.”

Natasha Lyonne dropped a heart emoji in the comments.Skylar Grey added:

“Please don’t stop making music the world needs you.”

Let’s hope Labrinth isn’t actually quitting music! He is way too talented to give up!
