It’s been a tough week for Fifth Harmony‘s Normani Kordei!
The singer was first linked to all kinds of rumors about the girl group’s downfall, and even though she did a lot to smooth things over recently, it evidently hasn’t been enough, at least on social media.

Now, the singer has decided to take a break from Twitter, in part to escape the aggressiveness she’s experienced, as she says, as a black female celebrity in the public eye.
She shared a tweet yesterday evening outlining her decision to step back from the social network, with the message included (below):

Wow.
It’s ridiculous that anybody should be subjected to that sort of stuff on the social network or otherwise — we feel for her so much.

Obviously, even despite some of the group’s recent troubles on their tour, there’s no question she’s been giving a LOT to make things work for Fifth Harmony.
Let’s just hope things can get smoothed over enough for them all to keep moving forward together.
