How Did The Cast Of Fuller House Really React To Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen Passing?

no title
There’s no way they’re not going to be in at least one episode, right?
Fuller House is a mere matter of hours away from its premiere, but we’re still a little bummed that Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen won’t be taking part in the reboot.
Sure, Michelle may only be one person, but how funny would it have been to watch MK&A switch back and forth now that we can actually tell them apart? LOLz!

Well, it seems as though we’re not the only ones who are gonna miss the twins, because the rest of the Netflix series’ cast is still talking about their absence about three months after it was first reported!
While speaking to People, John Stamos joked about a moment he had with Lori Laughlin about why the girls are skipping the reboot, saying:

“Lori was talking to me about the twins and said, ‘They just won a CFDA Award.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s like winning an Oscar.’ It was them and Tom Ford. I get where they’re at.”

That’s a fair point. And it’s nice that the girls’ former costars know enough about fashion to know how big the Twins are!
Plus, Ashley did say she doesn’t feel like an actress anymore, so we get why she’d be hesitant.

But Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky aren’t the only family members reminiscing about Michelle. Dave Coulier also spoke to the mag about why he thinks they decided to pass, saying:

“They’re family members, but I think they have a different perspective. When we get together and we reminisce, they were babies. So they don’t share those same memories. I can’t really speak for them but I would understand why they don’t have the same sentiments that we all do.”

We never thought of that, but they probably don’t even remember filming half the show!
Make sure to catch all 13 episodes of Fuller House to see if Mary-Kate and Ashley make a surprise appearance this Friday, February 26 at 3 a.m. EST on Netflix!
