There were a lot of mixed reactions to this year’s Emmy nominations.
But the craziest response to Thursday’s announcement was from one of the nominees.
Emilia Clarke proved just how well she knows her Game Of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryan by responding in Dothraki! She said:
“Yer chomoe anhaan. Jin ha Khalaan, shekh ma shieraki anni.”
Um, in case you don’t happen to speak the language of the horse lords, what’s that in the common tongue?
“You do honor to me. This is for the Khal – my sun and stars.”
Aww! That’s one humble Mother of Dragons! In fact, she doesn’t take any credit for her nomination! She says:
“I think probably my dragons did it. Maybe they were scared. No ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I├óΓé¼Γäóm lucky enough to get to play a seriously strong woman who is going from strength to strength, and if you├óΓé¼Γäóre a woman who is empowered, maybe you like that.”
Everyone likes a seriously strong woman! Well, everyone we want to have anything to do with anyway!
