Gigi Hadid is finally ready to talk about her man, Bradley Cooper!
As you may know, the couple was first linked romantically in October 2023 after being spotted out to dinner with friends at Via Carota in New York City. More than a year later, they are still going strong — and Gigi opened up about her relationship with Bradley for the first time in a new interview with Vogue, published on Tuesday. No, the 29-year-old supermodel didn’t just utter a few words about the 50-year-old actor and move on! Although the pair have kept their romance pretty private, she actually had a lot to say about him in the piece!
The convo about Bradley started when asked if she would ever try to act and get into theater. (FYI, Gigi is down! As she said, it is “like a dream” for her, which is “scary” to admit.) But how does this relate to her leading man? She said:
“Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life.”

Aww! And that opened up the floodgates! We got so much more from there, including details on how they began dating! Gigi has a 4-year-old daughter, Khai, with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik while Bradley shares a 7-year-old daughter, Lea, with ex Irina Shayk. So naturally, they met because of their kids! According to Vogue, they were introduced to each other at a backyard birthday party for the child of a mutual friend, and the rest was history! What an adorable meet-cute! The Next In Fashion host expressed that their relationship is “very romantic and happy.” But at the same time, she points out how “hard” it can be to have a “normal” dating experience as two well-known celebrities:
“You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating, and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people? And then there’s another added layer of privacy and security. You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”
Oof. There are aspects of the relationship she wants to keep to herself because “it’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason.” Of course, it’s not easy to keep everything out of the public eye, as she pointed out, but she’s also learned to go with the flow these days. She knows someone may provide information “that’s kind of right and kind of wrong,” but she says that “you just have to let it go; you can’t always correct everything.”
Ultimately, Gigi believes they are both at the right place in their lives for this relationship. She also feels “lucky” at the end of the day, saying:
“I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential, and then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve…and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.”
Gigi couldn’t help but continue to gush about Bradley more from there! She continued:
“I respect him so much as a creative, and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap.”
Wow!
