It was a battle at the box office between Gnomeo & Juliet and Hall Pass this weekend
In its third week of release, Gnomeo & Juliet made its way to the top, barely surpassing the Owen Wilson comedy Hall Pass.
With $14.2 million, it was the number one movie and barely inched its way to the Number One spot, passing Hall Pass, which made $13.4 million.
Liam Neeson‘s Unknown came in third while the Jennifer Aniston/Adam Sandler comedy Just Go With It came in fourth place.
The Alex Pettyfer flick I Am Number Four rounded up the top five, while Justin Bieber‘s Never Say Never took a drastic fall and dropped to sixth place with $9.2 million.
Guess those Beliebers weren’t interested in seeing the Director’s Fan Cut, which was advertised to being out in theaters for only a week.
