What the awfully wedded trash?!
A Pennsylvania man has been arrested and now faces sexual assault charges — after allegedly assaulting one of the bridesmaids of his own wedding just TWO DAYS before the ceremony!
According to court records obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a woman — whose name has not been made public — told police she woke up with the groom on top of her in a locker room shower.

The woman, who was in town all the way from Oregon to be a bridesmaid had little recollection of the events. She told police she got drunk while rafting with the wedding party, and the bride asked the groom, 28-year-old Daniel Carney, to help her off the boat and back to her room.
The next thing she remembered after blacking out was waking up in the shower with Carney biting and grabbing her, and then blacked out again, after which he was on top of her, and her bikini bottoms were gone.
Police reportedly reviewed surveillance footage from the Shawnee Inn and watched Carney pull the barely conscious woman into the men’s locker room. State Trooper Justin Leri confirmed:
“The footage showed the victim and the accused walking down the hallway, with the victim extremely unsteady on her feet and swaying. Just before the doorway, the accused is observed turning around and pulling the victim into the locker room.”
Obviously there were no cameras inside. Thankfully, that may not be necessary to prove her story.
Apparently what saved the intoxicated woman was her friend — the bride!
According to the woman’s account, the bride found them in the shower and pulled Carney off her friend. The two then got into a violent altercation.
Yeah, we bet.
Carney initially told investigators he was also blackout drunk and “felt like he was taken advantage of by the victim.” Wow. However, police later listened to a phone call between Carney and the alleged victim in which he apologized multiple times.
He also sent her a text asking her to take Plan B — despite swearing he didn’t have sex with her while she was unconscious:
“I wanted to apologize again for everything. Can we please just be as happy as possible for [bride’s name redacted] today?
Mistakes are behind us and I just need total closure before I do this [that is] why I’m sending this. I’m as happy as ever to marry [bride’s name redacted] and I know this is terrible as well but my d— was out in the shower. We never did do it but would you consider taking plan b to make damn certain just in case? There is almost no chance but still. Please tell me yes I’m begging you.”
The nerve of this man…

THEY WENT THROUGH WITH THE WEDDING!
Seriously, despite interrupting her husband-to-be while he was allegedly sexually assaulting her bridesmaid, this woman STILL MARRIED HIM.
We just cannot with that one.
It was one day after the wedding when the bridesmaid — who did NOT attend the nuptials — went to the hospital and told staff, and eventually police, what had happened.
Daniel Carney was charged with “involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of an unconscious person, simple assault, and indecent assault.”
Would YOU be willing to go through with the wed—- nah. We aren’t even going to finish that question. So gross.
