Gypsy Rose Blanchard Posts Shocking Then-And-Now Photos From Her Munchausen Abuse Days…

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has come a long way!

On Tuesday, the Munchausen by proxy victim took a walk down memory lane by comparing her glow-up from an 18-year-old victim of abuse to the 32-year-old she is now.

In side-by-side pics on Instagram and TikTok, she could be seen as a teen in a wheelchair, colorful PJs, a pink sweatshirt, a matching beanie, and holding stuffed animals. She was shown smiling and sitting outside of a hospital where she spent much of her childhood getting unnecessary surgeries and treatment. In the second more recent selfie, the reality star showed off her new blonde hair and nose job while posing in a sleeveless black top. Truly a significant change!

On TikTok (HERE), she shared the photos with “#munchausen by proxy awareness” written in large white letters and Alessia Cara‘s Scars to Your Beautiful playing. She included hashtags for her upcoming Lifetime show, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, too, while also adding in the caption:

“Stay positive, there is always hope .”

On the ‘gram, she elaborated:

“There is a beauty in the struggle of overcoming your past. #selflove .”

Ch-ch-check it out!

At a Television Academy FYC event last week, Gypsy opened up about her physical transformation a bit more, too. She said, via People:

“I felt like, you know, going into prison, growing my hair out, that was me evolving into my own back then, but then coming out of prison was another evolving moment for me. So I think that right now I’m very comfortable in the way I look, and I’m proud and I have confidence now.”

She went through so much as a kid. Now that she’s done her time for her part in her mother and abuser Dee Dee‘s murder, she’s on a healing journey to continue to process the trauma and move forward in a healthier way. Reactions? Share ’em in the comments (below)!
