Halsey came through, y’all!
The Bad At Love singer proved once again this week that she is SO very good at having people’s backs — she’s even there with cold, hard cash for random strangers she’s never met before who got into trouble while listening to her music!

Take the case in point of one Halsey fan who tweeted this week that she’d been pulled over by the cops and given her first ever speeding ticket (for going 99 mph on the highway!) while driving back home from college and bangin’ a very specific new song…
The fan — who has since locked her account after going viral the last couple days — tweeted (below):
“Driving home from Penn State I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 I was ~dangerously~ close to admitting I was bangin out to @halsey’s new song Nightmare”
Oops!!
Well on Tuesday morning, Halsey saw the tweet and quickly did her thing, offering to help the fan out with a little cash to lessen the blow of the ticket AND helping other drivers as well with some sage advice for when they get behind the wheel (below):

Wow! That must’ve been quite the surprise for that girl to see when it popped up!
And as if there was ever any doubt, it appears Halsey kept her word!
The fan later tweeted a screenshot of her gains before locking her account, showing a screenshot of $250 being sent to her Venmo account and adding (below):
“So this happened and I’ve never been more grateful or felt less deserving. @halsey you are unreal.”
Awww! That’s so cool!
Halsey is no stranger to giving away money, either — whether it be friends and family, or random people like this on social media, it’s clear that there’s no shortage of generosity from this amazing, down-to-earth star!
