The son of two Puerto Ricans, Lin stopped by Last Week Tonight on Sunday to address the Commonwealth’s debilitating $70 BILLION public debt!

John Oliver spent 21 minutes breaking down the island’s economic troubles, and closed out the segment with Lin-Manuel rapping about how the United States needs to help its territory!
Not only is the message poignant, but the song feels just as powerful as all of his other bodies of work.
Hopefully the Hamilton star’s intense level of fame leads to some positive changes over in Congress — after all, he did promise Paul Ryan free tickets!
