Hayden Panettiere's Ex Wladimir Klitschko Thinks Her BF Brian Hickerson Is 'Enabling All Of Her Bad Habits'

Surprise, surprise: Wladimir Klitschko is NOT a fan of ex-fiancé Hayden Panettiere’s allegedly abusive boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.

A source told Us Weekly the former boxer has grown increasingly concerned over his baby momma’s relationship with the 30-year-old in the months since Hickerson was arrested for allegedly assaulting the actress, also 30, in May.

The insider explained that while Vlad’s soft spot for Hayden had previously caused him to turn a blind eye, he now has little patience left for his ex’s new man. The source noted:

“Vlad was so in love with Hayden that he looks the other way with regard to some things, but Brian has tested Vlad’s patience and kindness.”

As we reported, Hickerson and the Heroes alum called it quits in June, one month after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and released on $50,000 bail. The two have reportedly reconciled in the weeks since the dismissal of his case (along with the protective order in defense of Hayden) back in September.

On the heels of the case’s dismissal, a spokesperson for the LA District Attorney’s office told ET their office was “unable to proceed because we could not secure a material witness” — suggesting that Hayden wasn’t willing or able to testify.

For his part, Vlad apparently thinks Hickerson is “a user and overall bad guy,” according to the source, who noted the 43-year-old also thinks the aspiring actor is “controlling Hayden and enabling all of her bad habits.”

That’s likely why the ex-athlete won’t let Hickerson around their 4-year-old daughter Kaya, who lives in the Ukraine with him. The source added:

“When Hayden visits it has to be without him.”

Probably a good idea, seeing as even Hickerson’s family is said to be “extremely concerned” about his “toxic” relationship with the actress. A separate Us source previously revealed:

“Brian’s family is extremely concerned for his safety when he is with Hayden. They are terrified that Brian will once again find himself accused of domestic violence. Hayden and Brian are very toxic for each other.”

Hmmm…

While the wagging tongues around the couple sound gravely concerned for their well-being, a source close to the actress perviously said Hayden is merely having a “good time,” sharing:

“Hayden is upbeat, and looking forward to a great year. Hayden is in the midst of making decisions about what she wants to do next and needs a break from routine. She’s a young, beautiful girl who is allowed to have a good time. That’s what she’s doing.”
