If you don’t recognize the name Mike O’Hearn, you may remember his American Gladiators alter-ego — Titan!
The hunky body builder has won the Fitness Model of the Year award seven times and is quite the eye candy on Instagram. But it looks we could be seeing the beefcake on the big screen — in the live action He-Man movie!
O’Hearn started teasing on social media that he was getting in shape for the role, captioning his shirtless pics with hashtags like #HeMan and #HemanTheMovie!

While Sony announced it tapped Thor: Ragnarok screenwriter Christopher Yost to pen the script for the Masters Of The Universe reboot, fans were convinced that O’Hearn was already cast to play the iconic character!
But after further investigation, it seems that the curious hashtagging was just self promotion to stir up some buzz!
He wrote in his most recent IG post:

“I want to thank all the supporters for sending good vibes in hopes I get the role of He-Man. I am working hard everyday so when the opportunity presents itself, I’ll be ready. It’s pretty exciting that Hollywood is talking or has my name on their lips when it comes to this role├óΓé¼┬ª.To be clear, I do not have the role yet. The Internet is flattering but you can’t believe everything you see on there.”

Hmmm… this sounds like the time Tyrese Gibson enthusiastically posted fan-art of himself wearing a Green Lantern suit and fooled fans into thinking he was cast as the DC superhero!
Though the bodybuilder certainly isn’t out of the running — he’s auditioned for roles in Captain America and Conan the Barbarian, so he could very well defend the realm of Eternia after all!
Either way, we hope O’Hearn gets a shot at the role! For now, we can gaze upon his drool-worthy pics (below)!
