Hilary Swank got into trouble a couple months ago when she attended a party for Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a man who is accused of torturing and murdering.
She later apologized for the incident, but then made an appearance this week on The Tonight Show, her first since the controversy, to say she was in deep “regret” and “shame on me,” for not doing her research beforehand.
