Nothing wrong with drinking alone at 10 a.m.!
In fact, we hear wine tastes better first thing in the morning or at least that seems to be what Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb are pushing us to believe while rockin’ out on the Today show set.
However, it’s always less awkward when you’re drinking with company at that hour, but Kathie Lee might need to get over that because it’s rumored she could be losing her drinking buddy!
As The View overhauls their cohosts – which has already resulted in Jenny McCarthy being brought on – they might continue to spruce up the panel by adding a little Hoda in the mix to replace Joy Behar.
An insider revealed the potential shift going on:
“Hoda addresses several of their needs. She has news experience, which is something The View has not had since Meredith Vieira left. She also adds some diversity to the panel.”
As much as we love a good ol’ NBC/ABC brawl, we hate the idea of Kathie Lee crying in her wine! Salty tear wine?? Yuck!
And considering all the recent rumors of Hoda leaving, we’re totes worried, guys!
But it sounds like even though the interest in Hoda might be there, the feelings aren’t necessarily mutual. That’s right, Perezcious readers, we might all be able to drink on together as someone close to Hoda revealed:
“Hoda loves her job at Today and she├óΓé¼Γäós very happy laughing and scratching with Kathie Lee every day.”
ABC also reportedly commented that they are not seeking Hoda as a possible replacement host.
Perhaps they just can’t afford the wine bill?
