Idina Menzel is practically America’s newest “It Girl”, though we’ve been fans of her Broadway work for years…
But she really owns her recent career resurgence to two things: Frozen and Adele Dazeem!
After John Travolta epically screwed up her name while announcing her Let It Go performance at the 2014 Oscars, Adele Idina was all everyone was talking about!
The Frozen star recently sat down with Billboard to dish every thought that was going on in her head after Danny Zuko’s name mishap—and she’s surprisingly grateful for the experience:

“I was very zen. I had all of these visuals set for myself and meditations. I was going to think about my 4-year-old son, all of this stuff to really just stay focused and just stay in the moment and enjoy it—and not think about all of the crazy celebrities out there…And then that happened, and it threw me for a minute, but then I just got back on track and reminded myself of where I was. [John] was really gracious and sent this gorgeous email, and we’re buddies and it’s all cool. Please. I mean, I’ve only benefited from it.”

We’re loving the positive spin, girlfriend!
The AH-Mazing songstress also discussed just how hard her signature Disney song is to sing, but she takes it in stride:

“It’s a demanding song to sing, actually. You can’t just wake up out of bed and go sing in front of millions of people…but it was a challenge I was happy to take on. And it’s a Disney song, yet I think it stands on it’s own. The whole thing haas just been an incredible ride and gift. And it’s all from a project I feel so strongly about and it resonates with me and young people, so it’s just like the gift that keeps giving.”

Amen, sista-friend!
We’re so thrilled you’ve captured everyone’s attention with your talent!
We can’t think of a more deserving person!
