Disgusting Illinois Representative Keith Farnham Charged With Trading Child Pornography: "Twelve Is About As Old As I Can Handle"

If these allegations are true, this guy is straight pond scum.
An Illinois Representative and retired Navy veteran Keith Farnham stepped down from his government post last month, and cited health concerns as the reason. At the time he said:

“I have been battling serious health issues for a number of years, and the coming months will require my full attention.”

What he failed to mention however that his health issues were of the mental sort, and his house had actually been raided a week before his March 19th resignation. Since then Farnham has been charged with trading child pornography on his personal computer and his work computer.
The 66-year-old Democrat who has twice tried to make sentences harsher for pedophiles, and the married father of one child made his first court appearance on Wednesday since the federal complaint was charged. One horrific incident, which he has not been charged with yet, was discovered on an email account believed to have belonged to Farnham.
In the email he describes molesting a six-year-old girl, and having sexual intercourse with her while the girl’s mother watched.
The email account also was responsible for the sharing of hundreds of photos and videos of child pornography including one where a six-month-old baby was abused. The account, linked to Farnham, had one online conversation where Farnham allegedly wrote:

“12 is about as old as I can handle. I love them at 6 7 8.”

One piece of evidence seized from Farnham’s house was marked Property of the State of Illinois House of Representatives, and it’s believed that some videos of young girls forced to perform oral sex on men was sent to Farnham’s office computer.
Homeland security agents first began investigating Farnham after an anonymous tip was placed to them. Some of the incriminating conversations that Farnham had were apparently with a federal agent, and the disturbing internet activity from the emails was traced to Farnham’s house.
The agent, who was emailing an unwitting Farnham, also apparently received graphic emails.
We hope there’s a quick resolution to bring justice down on this sick individual.
It’s sad to think that someone who held a public office could have such a disturbing and malicious private life — there’s no room for that anywhere in the world.
