injured spider man stunt man speaks up

We’re so happy with all the progress he’s made!

Stunt man Christopher Tierney, who was injured during a performance of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, is now in rehab, and has decided to speak up about his experience.

Here’s what Tierney had to say about his injury to CBS 2 News anchor Dana Tyler:

“I was falling and then I saw once I hit the darkness of the stage, I had to just turn it real quick so I wasn’t going to fall on my head and I crashed on my back.”

And more:

“The last thing I remember was like, uh, just going, ‘Oh, God.”

So scary!

We’ve also heard that Tierney wants to return to his Spider-Man role asap, but we REALLY hope he takes plenty of time to get better before he considers returning to the show.

Get well soon, bb! Our thoughts are with U!
