James Franco Mourns The Loss Of His Grandmother Mitzie Vern -- Says She Was 'Just The Best'

This is just heartbreaking.
On Monday, James Franco took to Instagram to reveal that his beloved grandmother Mitzie Vern had passed away. Poor thing!

Reportedly, the A-lister’s grandmother died only a month before her 94th birthday this past Sunday. What a loss!
While both James and his brother Dave Franco are famous actors, Miz Vern occasionally joined them in the spotlight. Mitzie is probably best remember for costarring in a Funny or Die skit with James, in order to promote his 2010 thriller 127 Hours.
We mean, Mitzie even attended her grandson’s Comedy Central roast back in 2013. AH-Mazing!
We can only imagine how heartbroken the entire Franco family must be right now. We’re wishing them all only the best!
