Mystery Female Celeb Who Allegedly Watched JAY-Z & Diddy Rape Young Girl 'Lawyering Up'

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

The female celebrity who allegedly watched JAY-Z and Diddy sexually assault a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty following the 2000 MTV VMAs is “100 percent” lawyering up in preparation to fight against her identity being made public.

As we’ve been reporting, back in October, a lawsuit was filed against Bad Boy Records mogul Sean Combs alleging that he raped a 13-year-old girl at a post-VMAs event way back in 2000. At the time, the suit claimed there were two unnamed celebrities right there along with Diddy — known in the suit as “Celebrity A” and “Celebrity B.”

Well, on Sunday, the suit was re-filed in a New York courtroom and the identity of “Celebrity A” was uncovered. As we reported, that alleged assailant was JAY-Z. And now, the identity of “Celebrity B,” the female celebrity who was allegedly there at the time as well, is being even more intensely called into question.

On Friday, Fox News Digital quoted several attorneys who gave surprising insight into the potential next legal steps for Celebrity B ahead of her name possibly getting out into the public sphere. According to criminal defense lawyer Julia Jayne, even though the world doesn’t (yet) know Celebrity B’s identity, that woman is lawyering up in preparation for a fight:

“[The celebrity is] 100 percent lawyering up and probably reviewing a demand letter.”

Don’t expect Celebrity B to come forward and try to get ahead of the story like JAY-Z did, though. According to Jayne, the unnamed female celeb coming forward on her own would obviously “drag that celebrity’s name through the mud.” That’d be very bad, the defense attorney explained:

“Likely, that celebrity’s name will come out, but no celebrity wants to be associated with this case, even as a witness. It would be negative publicity.”

Seriously! Even just having gone to Diddy’s normal parties is getting celebs put on lists! Heck, even being considered as a possibility of being “Celebrity B” is hurting careers! Just ask JAY-Z’s wife Beyoncé or Jennifer Lopez, who was dating Diddy at the time. Both names have been theorized by fans, and their social media followings are reflecting it, big time.

Meanwhile, another criminal defense lawyer suggested Celebrity B — whoever she is — may even be cooperating with the plaintiff! Hey, if it keeps her name out of the papers, right?? Attorney Lauren Johnson-Norris explained:

“Any celebrity witness has consulted with a lawyer by now about this case. We can only guess to the extent Celebrity B has been interviewed by the plaintiff or if Celebrity B is already cooperating with the Plaintiff’s team.”

Johnson-Norris hypothesized the mystery female celebrity could try a tactic where she admits to being there at the time of the alleged sexual assault — but argues she was not there “of her own free will,” and instead might have been “a victim as well”. After all, if Diddy is as scary as people say… Damn. Now that would be a helluva twist.

Finally, a third defense attorney named Oleg Nekritin cautioned the outlet that most attorneys facing this situation would counsel their clients to fight like hell in private and hope against hope their names are never released publicly:

“[Lawyers] will advise the celebrity that they have to fight like hell, first quietly, and then if named, loudly.”

Don’t expect this mystery woman Celebrity B to settle the suit against her even if her name is eventually revealed, though.

Nekritin explained that settling could be seen “as an implicit admission of misconduct” — as indeed it was with Diddy settling with Cassie just 24 hours later. So unless the plaintiff’s attorneys have “credible evidence” of misconduct on Celebrity B’s behalf, a settlement is unlikely — even if she really did witness the alleged events that happened on that fateful day back in 2000.

Instead, the attorney surmised, the mystery high-profile woman allegedly involved will “fight” to “protect their name” and reputation. Nekritin concluded:

“There will be no chance of this celebrity cooperating with the plaintiff unless there is strong proof of the celebrity’s misconduct.”

To what degree that “strong proof” exists obviously remains to be seen. Still, we’ve already been seeing the shocking fallout all week from JAY-Z’s name being dropped days ago. And we can only imagine how much more public outcry would come if or when Celebrity B’s name is revealed, as well. Reactions, y’all?
