JAY-Z made a surprise appearance at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour show in Paris on Sunday and sang multiple songs with his wife! From Crazy in Love to a Drunk in Love and Partition remix, the pair sang some of their greatest hits. But JAY-Z didn’t limit himself to Beyoncé collabs… 55-year-old also sang N***** in Paris from his and Ye’s joint 2011 album Watch the Throne. And made a noticeable tweak to the lyrics to snub his old collaborator!

While the lyrics originally go, “Just might let you meet Ye” Hova instead sang, “Just might let you meet Bey.”
No Kanye shoutouts around here!
This all comes months after the Yeezy founder questioned JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s children’s mental capacity in an appalling rant on X (Twitter). He’s since apologized, but clearly the protective parents aren’t happy.
Fans were quick to notice the lyrical change-up as well, saying things like:
“You see, he’s over Kanye & his mess, he changed the lyrics”
“Don’t blame it. Talk about my damn kids you dead to me. Forever!”
“Prediction: Ye is going to declare how hurt he is at being erased from the song (of course he’s already forgotten all the sh-t he’s done to this family because that’s how he do),”
“Now my mans Jay-Z knows N***as in Paris doesn’t hit the same without Kanye. Did he rap Kanye’s verse, too? A damn shame Ye became a lunatic”
